The Kmicic Flat Trash Ride 22” with Jingles is a One of a Kind handcrafted titanium cymbal combining the precision and control of a traditional Flat Ride with an unconventional trashy character and extended, textured sustain.
The absence of a bell gives the cymbal its focused Flat Ride response, with precise, dry stick definition and excellent control. Every stroke remains clear and articulate, making rhythmic patterns easy to hear even when the cymbal begins to open up.
What makes this instrument truly different is the addition of hand-forged jingles. They interact naturally with the cymbal as it vibrates, extending the decay and introducing an additional metallic texture around the fundamental cymbal voice.
Instead of a conventional clean Flat Ride sustain, the sound develops into a complex, slightly dirty and trashy tail filled with movement. The result is an unusual combination: precision under the stick with an unpredictable, textured atmosphere around it.
The 22” diameter provides enough body and projection for the cymbal to work as a primary ride, while its unique character also makes it an inspiring effect instrument for studio work, experimental setups and cinematic sound design.
